Realme is an offshoot of the Chinese brand Oppo, and aims to provide smartphones under Rs. 20,000 for the "young people around the world." It is led by former Oppo Global VP Sky Li and was launched in May 2018. Realme's latest mobile launch is the 9i 5G. The mobile was launched in 18th August 2022. The phone comes with a 6.60-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2400 pixels.

The Realme 9i 5G is powered by octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor and it comes with 4GB, 6GB of RAM. The phone packs 64GB, 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 1024GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Realme 9i 5G packs a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel (f/2.0) front shooter for selfies.

The Realme 9i 5G runs Android 12 and is powered by a 5000mAh. It measures 164.40 x 75.10 x 8.10 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 187.00 grams.

The Realme 9i 5G is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Fingerprint sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensor.
